A brief view of Phase 1A restoration and the changes it has brought so far to this historic waterway and its surroundings. Dereliction and linear rubbish dumps, transformed into a working Waterway, thanks to the funding of the Heritage Lottery Fund. New housing has already sprung up alongside the route of the restored section of waterway. Restored historic structures, together with new towpaths, public park areas in Stroud and Dudbridge, bringing wildlife and visitors into the area. Volunteers making a difference.
