Matt Archibald, Stroud’s recorder of local events writes: “Pacifist, anarchist, alotmenteer, cyclist, book -seller, Letter-Press printer and poet, Dennis Gould, reading at his 75th Birthday celebration at The Prince Albert public house, in Rodborough Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK; which begins with Dennis performing a poem entitled “A homage to cycling” followed by a poem dedicated to the memory of “Ms. Pat West”, “Bovine Blues”, a poem about Badgers, “Dada Cyclists”, about killer cars, and “Born-Again Cyclist Blues” and then a tribute to some of Dennis’s favourite poets and to the magazine: “Peace News”, before welcoming to the microphone: Jeff Cloves…..” See Jeff on SCTV here.
