Today Reg shares with us:
* Should we be using subtitles on our video newsletters? What do you think? (Leave a comment on their webpage – see below)
* We’ve been very lucky to recently be awarded grants from Lloyds TSB for money workshops, Barnwood Trust for a filming project and Coutts Charitable Trust for our hard of hearing outreach clinics. Big thanks to them all for their support.

* The GDA pantomime trip in January is now fully booked with 86 people attending. The BSL signed showing of Dick Whittington takes place on 5 January.
* There’s still time to get your raffle ticket for the Great Big Small Charity Car Draw to win a Kia Picanto. Tickets cost £2 each and are available from the GDA office.
* We will be hosting another race night on 25 January 2013. Tickets cost £10 and will be available shortly. Was a great night last year so be sure to get your ticket quickly.
* Thank you to everyone who came along to the GDSSC children’s Christmas party last weekend. It was a great day and Santa was there to distribute presents.
* Don’t forget it’s GDSSC bingo evening on 22 December at 7.30pm.
* Do you fancy a day trip to London to see a signed tour of the Science Museum? If so, drop us a line on 01452 372999 or admin@glosdeaf.org.uk to put your name forward.Enjoy and hope you’re feeling better soon Reg!!

Vote for subtitles??
The BSL news bulletins are attracting attention and indeed fascination from the wider hearing community. Some have asked for subtitles to help them follow the presentation. Go to their Facebook page and leave a comment here.
