This Public Inquiry concerns a planning application made by Urbaser Balfour Beatty (UBB) to build a huge waste incinerator in Gloucestershire, UK. The plans were thrown out by the Planning Committee of Gloucestershire County Council in March 2013. UBB have appealed, which has led to this Public Inquiry. An independent Government Inspector is presiding over the Inquiry and will write a report giving a recommendation for a decision to the Secretary of State. Eric Pickles (SoS) is expected to make a decision in the Autumn of 2014.
