With the best line-up of UK green and new-thought leaders and performers, Seed Festival plants ‘real’ seeds that will grow and help shape the world we want. Seed Festival brings together poets and activists, musicians and scientists, wild folk and city dwellers to dream together about what it means to live in a world that thrives in deep connection with nature. And now in our third year we need YOU to make this happen!
Over 100 contributors – talks, music, workshops & family fun
With over 100 contributors, workshops, activities and exhibitions over the weekend, Seed Festival provides a fertile ground for festival-goers to explore their own personal connection to the earth from spoon making to writing in the woods. Supporting us to face the challenges of environmental change through music, poetry, debate, nature and community connection.
From Friday evening of the 7th through to Sunday 9th of July, we will have some of the most amazing speakers of our time BBC’s Bruce Parry, Caroline Lucas and Molly Scott Cato from the Green party, Eden’s Tim Smit, Good Energy’s Juliet Davenport, Satish Kumar, Embercombe’s Founder Mac Macartney, Polly Higgins, Futerra’s Solitaire Townsend and Rob Hopkins from Transition. And we will welcome extraordinary millennials to represent the voice of the new generation that are stepping boldly forward in activism, permaculture, soil, GMOs, nature connection and money.
We will delight in the performances from the Ganda Boys, AMJ Collective, Three Acres and a Cow, Chloe Leigh, April Blue and Seize the Day’s Shannon Smy. Plus acts from as far away as the USA & Australia like Rising Appalachia, Formidable Vegetables Sound System, Senegal’s Jali Fily Cissokho and much more with great films like Demain, Plastic Ocean, plus hands-on creative workshops and loads of family fun!
Seed Festival takes place at Hawkwood’s Centre for Future Thinking in the Cotswolds. Set within a biodynamic farm, country house, woodlands and natural springs – it’s the perfect place to connect with nature, dream boldly, and celebrate life!
