Slimbridge WWT welcome the invasive species ban

The ban on sale will be implemented in 2014. The full list of plants to be banned from sale are:

  • water primrose Ludwigia spp,
  • parrot’s feather Myriophyllum aquaticum,
  • water fern Azolla filiculoides,
  • floating pennywort Hydrocotyle ranunculoides,
  • New Zealand pygmy weed Crassula helmsii.
