Stroud filmmaker Matt Archibald writes: “The Mayor and the May Queen are carried back up the hill to the site of the cheese rolling at The Randwick Wap: an ages old traditional May festival which is thought to have originated as a medieval weaver’s festival, in the small Cotswold village of Randwick.”
