The last days of summer…The phone lines are busy at Slimbridge as swallows use them as a resting place ahead of their incredible journeys south. Visitors are making the most of the last days of summer as the sun bathed reserve creates spectacular backdrops to the migrant birds. Meanwhile the wardens are working hard getting the Reserve into tip-top shape ahead of the large flocks arriving and are delighted to receive a hand from some unexpected helpers.
