Wader numbers rocket at Slimbridge. Wading birds are dominating the landscape at Slimbridge this week leading to some fantastic birdwatching opportunities. Black-tailed godwits, lapwing, ruff, little stints and curlew sandpiper are showing well on the reserve with the spotted redshank also making the odd popular appearance. We find out more about one of the ways the wardens engage with visitors on a Birdwatch morning this week and meet some attendees.
