Here is Green Party MEP for SW, Molly Scott Cato who lives in Stroud and was at the Climate march in London yesterday. As an economist Molly addresses some of the critical financial aspects of climate change and the COP21 climate talks. She talks about the importance of tackling the ‘carbon bubble’ and how rich nations, responsible for the vast majority of historic greenhouse gas emissions, must offer poorer countries free technology transfer to enable them to transition to low carbon economies.
