Hilfow writes: “Stroud CLP received visits from 2 members of Labours front bench team last week. Maria Eagle came to appraise herself on the situation with the Badger cull. Meeting both scientific experts in the field and members of the anti-Badger cull campaign groups to find out exactly what the position was on the ground. Roberta Blackman-Wood visited planning application sites across the Stroud District, met with local Stroud CLP members, Stroud District councilors and members of the various groups objecting to local planning applications. Roberta explained Labours policy on planning going forward but also listened to the various groups, councilors and members taking away valuable insights into how the planning process affects the Stroud District and its residents.”
