Stroud District Council’s tourism department have now officially released this film to help promote local businesses, enterprises, activities, our landscape, art, music and the creativity in the Five Valleys. The film has been made by award-winning local film-maker Nick Turner.

Sara Chardin, tourism officer for the council said: “It’s an exciting time for the Stroud district. Our corner of the Cotswolds is not as well-known as some of the traditional honeypot villages in the north Cotswolds. So our aim is to put the Stroud district in front of a global audience to show how much we have to offer.”

We were very honoured to be a part of this spectacular film. The result is a testament to the makers to be able to condense the essence of our wonderful town and surrounds into three breathtaking minutes. Dave Ireland, Time After Time

Nice film! A bit misleading for anyone who might try to get to Stroud by narrow boat though?
