Lee Prescott of the Stonehouse and Stroud Video Unit write: ‘The annual fireworks display together with a Fair takes place around the Autumn half term schools holiday in the Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, area. It has done so for over 60 years now. Organised by the Rotary Clubs, Round Table organisations. All the profits go to local charities and local branches of national charities. It attracts several thousands of people every year. Local organisations are involved in setting it up. The Fairground rides and the Firework Display are always in the hands of professionals. The Police and First Aid organisations are always in attendance. There has never been a problem of any sort!’
