Matt Archibald writes: Elvis Presley impersonator “Jo is Elvis” performing at the Emmaus* charity shop in Stroud, on Goodwill Evening 2015. The event helped to raise the profile of the charity by entertaining an audience , many of whom paid the charity an impromptu visit as a result of it being the town’s annual Christmas “Goodwill Evening” where many of the town’s independent retail outlets stay open after 5.30 pm and there are street stalls and a Christmas market, as well as a kid’s procession, a funfair , Christmas lights and street music.
