Environmentalist Jonathon Porritt speaks about Gloucestershire Incinerator

GlosVAIN’s clip of Jonathon Porritt speaking about the proposed Gloucestershire incinerator on 11th Jan 2013 at a Public Enquiry held in Cheltenham entitled “Mass Burn Incineration – Not in Anyone’s Backyard”.
Speakers at the event were Jonathon Porritt (Forum for the Future), John Beattie (SWARD), Gerald Hartley putting forward the County Council view in place of a County Council representative (invited but declined to attend) and Sue Oppenheimer (GlosVAIN).
Present at the event were over 100 people, including the press, Cheltenham MP Martin Horwood and Cotswold MP Geoffrery Clifton-Brown and a number of Gloucestershire district and borough councillors. The event was supported by GlosVAIN, Glosain, SWARD and Gloucestershire Friends of the Earth Network.
