In this film Stroud’s Elizabeth Willmott-Harrop talks about “Breaking with Broken Systems EU/UNICEF Partnership for the Legal Identity of African and Asian Children” project in Nigeria. this project has contributed significantly to establishing a sustainable system for delivery of birth registration services and Civil Registration and Vital Statistics reforms across the country. This was achieved by tackling key bottlenecks in the system, creating strong partnerships with multi-sectoral partners, particularly the health sector, and utilising the RapidSMS technology to track and follow up performance of birth registration service delivery at over 4,000 service points.
