Grace - 1Philip Booth writes: A wonderful evening listening to Grace Petrie at the Crown and Sceptre pub in Stroud. This film is a collection of some of the highlights from the evening with Grace on 5th May 2015 (not 15th as noted in film!) – it includes news that she was listed as Green Party Leader, Natalie Bennett’s favorite musician. The film was made with permission from Grace but I’ve thrown together very quickly so huge apologies for quality etc but wanted to give a flavour of a great evening.

Grace is a songwriter, activist and performer from Leicester. She first exploded on to the national protest scene in 2010 with the emotive anthem Farewell to Welfare, which captured perfectly the spirit of the new wave of dissent in austerity Britain. Since then she has quietly become one of the most prolific and respected songwriters working in the UK today. I hope to upload more from Grace including singing in next days.
