Laurie Lee Celebration Walk 2014

On the 8th of June 2014 the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust held the Laurie Lee Celebration Walk for the centenary of Laurie Lee’s birth. Laurie Lee was a worldwide renowned novelist, screenwriter and poet.
The walk took place through the Slad Valley, Gloucestershire. Hundreds of people of all ages walked through the picturesque countryside. Along the walk were poetry posts showcasing Lee’s most beloved poems.
