Stroud Life reported on the amazing picnic on Minchinhampton Common to raise awareness of adrenal insufficiency. When Molly Pegler, 15, who put together this film was diagnosed with pituitary failure – her family decided to help others in the same situation….this led to forming Adrenal Insufficiency UK, in the hope of trying to get new medications and research in to the condition.

Stroud Life report: “Worldwide, 65 ‘Molly’s picnics’ were held in California, Florida, Atlanta, Barcelona, London, Australia, New Zealand, Hampshire, Los Angeles, New York, Majorca, Oklahoma, Surrey, Texas, Indiana, Massachusetts, Australia, Ohio, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Nova Scotia and many other locations where blue balloons were released in to the sky.”

Thank you so much for posting this, we had around 80 picnics in the end, local support has been brilliant and much appreciated (i’m so grateful for that and to the pituitary foundation for having the faith in me to create the first ever awareness day of its kind), please also join my facebook page to see what else im doing to help Molly and others like her its going to be an exciting year. Thanks again
