sctv-winner-thingyHappy New Year to our viewers – in this newsletter there are details of how you can nominate films for amazing our Awards evening in March plus some of our December film highlights.

NOMINATE FILMS FOR AWARDS 2017: This will be our fifth year of awards. From 1st January members of the public will be able to nominate their best films in one or more of the categories: Best Local film, Best Campaign film, Best Stroud Music film, Best Community Event film, Best Local Business film, Best Community project film and Best ‘Green’ film. The films have to have been uploaded during 2016 to Stroud Community TV. The films with the most nominations will then go to our team of experienced local judges. Closing date for nominations is now 18th January. Send the link for your Stroud Community TV nomination to:

swansWe will announce the results at our Awards Night on Saturday 18th March at Lansdown Hall (doors open 7pm, starts 7.30, free entry) where we will show winners plus other great local films and have a chance to meet some film makers. Special guests include the media team from Slimbridge WWT. Our film night will again be part of the hugely successful Stroud Film Festival.
