And, of course we had our amazing Stroud Community TV Awards evening at the Crown and Sceptre pub. We showed 16 films and 15 film makers and others shared their experiences of making films – including the actor who played the teenage Laurie Lee in the recent Cider with Rosie film. Meanwhile our Facebook page has reached 350 likes and our @StroudTV twitter is over 800 followers. We update those regularly when we add films. We are also looking for help to maintain and build this project so do get in touch if you think you can help….

Sixty concerned local people asked Urbaser to make public the full details of its controversial incinerator contract with Gloucestershire County Council.  They came to support Green Party County Councillor Sarah Lunnon who had been two weeks earlier to ask Urbaser directly for a copy of the contract but had been refused:
