Excerpts from a production of George Orwell’s “1984” created by Stroud Theatre Company ( www.stroudtheatrecompany.co.uk) along with Northern Broadsides.

This video is a showcase of animated sequences. The animations interacted with the actors on stage throughout the 2 hour performances.
The play toured to Lancaster, Halifax, Bury St Edmunds, Kingston, Buxton, Bristol and Richmond theatres and was well received by audiences and the press.
The animation itself utilises a variety of animation techniques, largely charcoal animation on a single surface, also oil painted, cut-out and emulsion on wall animation.
