SCTV-nominations-Best Local filmJonathan Brough writes: “This is the final cut of my first year media degree project at Plymouth University. Enjoy…”

Thanks to the Stroud and News Journal for drawing our attention to this film. Jonathan Brough, 24, lives in Minchinhampton and has just started his second year of a media degree at Plymouth. He finished top of the class last year with a ‘first’ and this film, ‘An Uncertain Situation’; described in the SNJ as ‘a thought-provoking metaphor for the new world in which Jonathan found himself five years ago, when meningitis robbed him of the ability to move from his neck down….It’s a world that must be threatening, confusing and claustrophobic. Yet it’s a world given a rare beauty by the courage, positivity and intelligence of the young man who lives in it.’
