If you are very quick, there may still be time to enter your movie. Please deliver your film to SVA as soon as possible and email to let us know its there for collection.

The films will be screened on Wednesday 22nd. May 2013 at SVA, John Street, Stroud as part of the 2013 Site Festival. For more information and how to submit your film, go to the YOUNG FILM MAKERS SHOWCASE web page. You can view some of the films screened at the 2012 Showcase online at STROUD COMMUNITY TV website. Films exhibited in the 2013 Showcase will be included on the SCTV web site after the event.

Some of last years entries can be found at:

The first Gloucestershire Showcase Short Film Festival will be held on 1st June 2013 at Gloucester’s historic Blackfriars Priory and the Gloucester Language Immersion Centre. The Film Festival will give local filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their filmmaking talents. The festival will also include a screening of a selection of short films from around the world as selected by Strangers In A Cinema, demonstrations, workshops, live events, caricatures by Tony’s Toons, a Hog Roast and bar and the Showcase Market.

The first  Gloucestershire Showcase Short Film Festival need Volunteers and local traders for our Showcase Market. Volunteers would help with setting up the venue, supervising events within the festival, handing out flyers and helping festival goers find events. As part of the festival they are putting on a Showcase Market which we hope will be made up of items made and sold by local crafts people as well as comic book and movie memorabilia sellers. They are still looking for vendors who may be interested in hiring a table for the afternoon. The market part of the festival will run from Midday to 4pm and will cost vendors a flat fee of just £10 per table for the afternoon.
