What’s Wrong With Ed Vaizey? John Dougherty on libraries

Since 2010, Ed Vaisey has done little or nothing to stop councils cutting library provision by as much as 40%. This home-made video illustrates a satirical song by children’s author John Dougherty asking why Ed Vaizey is neglecting his responsibilities.
Rodborough author and library campaign, John Dougherty writes:
Much has been written about the singular uselessness of Ed Vaizey. For those of you who don’t know, he’s the UK Minister for Culture, Communications & Creative Industries, and as such is responsible for supervising library services in England; you can read more about how badly he’s failed to do this at the excellent Public Libraries News.
For those of you who do know – and that’s all of you now, if you’ve read the preceding paragraph – I hope you enjoy this little home movie.
