Since January 2013, when a new vaccine against meningitis B received a European license, we have been campaigning for its introduction into the childhood immunisation programme here in the UK. Our campaign has travelled the length and breadth of the country, including a visit to Downing Street to deliver the first 20,000 signatures of our petition.

No decision has yet been made by the UK government but bringing in the vaccine is still very much an option.  We will keep campaigning, with the public and politicians, until this vaccine is introduced. On this page you can find out more about the campaign timeline, our work with MPs and how to get involved. Sign the petition if you can or donate by texting MenB10 (and the amount you wish to give) to 70070 and help us Beat it Now.

At least 200 UK residents could have been saved from death or disability in the last year had a revolutionary new Meningitis B vaccine been introduced for free on the NHS. Meningitis Now Chief Executive Sue Davie calls on the Government to take action.
