This video from 2011 was put together by Tony Wilton. He writes: “Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment, a policy of the Labour government, ended 2010, to force local Authorities in England to identify land for large scale building expansion. What it could have meant to the villages of Randwick and Whiteshill, Gloucestershire, England.” Since then Stroud District has not developed it’s Local Plan and some of the sites shown in this film are still threatened with development.
