What’s pink and peaceful and seven miles long? Wool Against Weapons and friends unfurl a giant peace scarf to link the bases where Britain’s nuclear weapons are made and say no to Trident. 9 August 2014 – the 69th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

    Great video. It was the 69th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki – equally devastating and deeply regretable.

    Very excited seeing this…of course!!!….lovely to look back at all the pieces I had forgotten, remember the sunshine and the vibe of the day. Its now deepest winter and we are repurposing all those lovely pink pieces into blankets – a load are being dispatched to Tanzania on Monday, and some are already in Syria.
